The challenge

Advinia felt it was time to revamp their website, so asked us to design the new site, build it and write fresh content. They wanted a site that better communicated their person-centred approach to care and the different facilities offered at each home. The website needed to be SEO-optimised and full of stories about the meaningful activities taking place in Advinia Care Homes across the UK.

Our approach

The new website needed to be user-friendly and packed full of valuable content that would showcase Advinia’s bespoke care approach. As well as creating pages that detailed the types of care offered, their person-centred care ethos, and their focus on residents’ wellbeing, we also made landing pages for every home.

These landing pages included important details about the home and the area, making it easier for people searching for care homes in that locale to find the Advinia option. We pulled in feedback from residents and their loved ones to add social proof to the pages too.

The next stage was to create ongoing stories for every home showing the meaningful activities their residents were enjoying. Our team of former journalists work directly with each service to produce a variety of stories demonstrating Advinia’s values and ethos in action. By the end of the project, all 37 of Advinia’s services were fully represented by positive experiences of residents, team members and loved ones.

The impact

Advinia now has an SEO-optimised site that has improved their search rankings and makes their homes easier to find online. The design and content have improved the user experience and quickly directs visitors into making an enquiry by phone or email. Each home has a dedicated page that is SEO-friendly for its specific location.

Having collaborated on the large volume of meaningful activities articles with our team, Advinia staff now understand the importance of sharing positive news stories and the value that it creates for their homes. We continue to work with them to produce content every month from across the homes, ensuring that each one gets the opportunity to refresh the news on their page. News stories are shared across traditional media channels and on social media to build a strong online reputation for each home.
